Beth Tsai, Ph.D. is the author of Taiwan New Cinema at Film Festivals

A subject matter expert (A.I. training specialist) at Snorkel A.I., a data-centric platform that started out at Stanford, and a Research Fellow at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

She is a contributing author to the New Review of Film and Television Studies, International Journal of Asia Pacific Studies, Quarterly Review of Film and Video, Journal of Asian Cinema, and Oxford Bibliographies. Her experimental films have been screened locally and internationally, such as the Women with a Movie Camera Festival in New York and the Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival in France.

She holds a Ph.D. in Cinema and Cultural Studies from Stony Brook University, SUNY, an M.F.A. in Media Study from the University at Buffalo, SUNY, and a B.A. in English from National Central University, Taiwan.
