She is a contributing author to the International Journal of Asia Pacific Studies, Quarterly Review of Film and Video, Journal of Asian Cinema, and Oxford Bibliographies. Her experimental films have screened internationally and at various venues across New York State.
She holds a Ph.D. in Cinema and Cultural Studies from Stony Brook University, SUNY, and an M.F.A. in Media Study from the University at Buffalo, SUNY.
